Eggy

Far more likely

Anderlect - He will cost £22M

Sullivan - Ill give you £10M up front with add ons

Anderlect - £20M cash and you can have him

Sullivan - £12M cash and the other £8M when we make the champions league

Definitely the sort of signing we should be making.

so either

A) we've tapped him up

or

B) twitter is full of shit

Re: James Maddison £12m Bid
Crassus, I agree with the point in general of linking up with a club, but Norwich are too big for that. They sell out their ground every week, 27k, and will be back in the Prem before too long.

Re: James Maddison £12m Bid
Moyes went to check him out against Chelsea and wasnt impressed

Turned attention to TOM CAIRNEY at Fulham instead apparantly

Re: James Maddison £12m Bid
Oh and another clib here worth considering would be MK Dons - not to far away, play historically good football, have a huge and successful youth programme and a record of dealings with us and our ex players

Still fuming that we let Alli through the paws when we all knew what he would be

Well man utd have/had that with a Belgian club, can't remember who, Bruges?, and fuck all seems to have come of it but Chelsea do, and whilst I can't be specific, I have it in my mind from the press that it is considered a result for training on an extracting the odd good one back

All very vague I know, but pretty sure I am on the right lines non Googled

West Ham have not made any bids for Norwich City midfielder James Maddison despite a recent report claiming a bid had been tabled, according to a club insider.

Twitter account ExWHUemployee, who has established themselves as a reliable source of information surrounding the Hammers, delivered the critical update on Thursday evening after the Guardian had reported that a £12million offer had been made to the Canaries for the 21-year-old.

Totally agree with linking up with a Norwich or someone of that ilk. Can have benefits for both clubs. I’m not sure if it’s still the case, but I know some clubs have affiliations with teams abroad which they use as potential breeding grounds for young players. Rarely is it successful though.

Re: James Maddison £12m Bid
I would rather send money on a proper bid for this lad, Lookman at Everton or Redmond than spunk it upon various spurious loans and old duffers

Always liked the look of the lads at Leicester, left back/wingback and their pacey yoot up top, Chilwell and Gray

Ship sailed on those two mind

Re: James Maddison £12m Bid
This is a no-brainer. Mad to say it but £12 million for a young, skilful player is nothing in today’s world. Get him in.

Funny enough, my man mentioned him, bit more he said, quite a bit, and they are standing 50% of it
But then that cuntmeister general Ed Balls is running things, he who gave that fuckwit Scotcher manager £2m to stay money and then fucked him off shortly after

Re: James Maddison £12m Bid
Customer of mine, Norwich ST and knows his football, has a certain inside word courtesy of connections from being a local commercial face and corporate facilities

He said 18 mths ago that this lad was the boy, also pointed out the twins, one has gone to Newcastle. Saw him this week, word there is that Moyes scouted in person against Chelsea, albeit as I pointed out, he may have been looking at Bats

Anway, their parachute has stopped and they have players on huge money that were not capped in case of relegation, they will continue to sell

He said Spurs were in the driving seat, previous trade and all that

From our perspective, I said that we ought be pertnering with a club like Norwich, continual production line and historically players of football for a first dibs at theirs and a place to send out our yoot

Mind you, if we dont watch out we will be their contempories, so may be a tad fanciful, but rather there than fucking Sheffield Utd
